Several times over the past years I have wondered: "What do I really want to do in life?" I am good at quite a few things like business analysis and consulting, human resource management, freelance and book writing, educational mentoring etc.

I have tried my hands at all of them. Everytime I stood in amazement at the end, wondering over what I have given, what I have I achieved and how do I benchmark success.

I am still trying to answer the question. Here I am not trying to convince myself, but I do want to establish an equilibrium and work and live with a balance.

From balance, which I see as the most important metric of success, I mean:

1. How much of myself was I able to express when I wrote my first book? (See http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PG1YAIQ)

2. What is my reach and the nature of reach I have been able to accomplish over the past week?

3. Have I been able to get my message across correctly?

4. If my book is being received well and is lacking a reach due to random factors, how do I facilitate that?

5. Last but not the least, how many needful lives it is at the end of the day that I have been able to touch and spread smiles to?

It is with these set of questions that I decide to test my thoughts and approach of my endeavour, recognizing the importance of change that I might need in case I have not been able to strike the right chord.

I came across this Amazon self-publishing tool where I have published my first book titled "A Collection of Articles in Philosophy and Spirituality" and you can read more about me at https://www.amazon.com/author/amitahlawat.

Ciao!!!
